The Nicollet xChange: Presented by Global Fashion Exchange, LUUM Collective and Downtown Improvement District, this weekly outdoor pop-up gives downtowners the chance to swap quality and quirky items in a marketplace setting. Each month will have a different theme as well as demos featuring a local artist, maker or expert to share skills like how to mend holes in clothing or tips to keep house plants thriving. Plant & Clay Crawl: Local clay studio Dame Errant and plant shop Mother Co. are joining forces on a plant and clay crawl. Full Moon Terrarium Class: Join Ms. Seedling at AudreyRose Vintage for a Full Moon terrarium class where you can charge your crystals, get a tarot reading and create a terrarium to take home with you. Scout Reopens in Uptown: After over two years at 50th & France, apparel and gift shop Scout has closed down shop and will reopen in Uptown this weekend. Totally Rad Vintage Fest Summer Sesh: The twice-yearly Totally Rad Vintage Fest returns to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for its big summer market with more than 70 vendors. The fest features ’80s, ‘90s and Y2K-era vintage primarily focusing on clothing but there will also be records, toys, video games, home goods and more. Treehouse Records One-Day CD Blowout Sale: After closing in 2018, legendary record shop Treehouse Records was left with a warehouse full of 8,000 new and used CDs. Owner Mark Trehus is selling CDs from the store and his personal collection as well as the collection of Tony Glover and other noteworthy sources. There will be titles from legendary artists spanning genres like vintage blues, soul, western, jazz, avant garde, vIntage garage, psychedelia and more. Wild Vintage Collective Reopening: Temporarily closed due to recent catastrophic flooding, Wild Vintage Collective—home to over 40 local vintage clothing and home goods dealers—and Wild Vintage Antiques along with the adjoining Clapping Monkey House of Coffee are reopening this Saturday. The original 18,000 square feet of the space will be condensed due to remaining repair work to be done, but the majority of the vendors will be returning. Coalesce Fundraiser: Join Coalesce Collective for a day of fashion, inspiration and philanthropy to raise funds to support the collective’s upcoming show at New York Fashion Week. September 23: Avant Garden 2023: The party of the year is returning this September 23.
