Inkwell Booksellers is now open in Northeast Minneapolis’ St. Anthony neighborhood.

Inkwell Booksellers Company: An indie bookstore with a coffee counter has just opened at the busy intersection of East Hennepin and Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis. Inkwell carries almost 10,000 books of all genres, including graphic novels, with special sections calling out local authors and staff picks. The shop also serves Wesley Andrews espresso, Inkwell-branded drip coffee and Rose Street Patisserie basked goods. Junk Bonanza Spring Show: Celebrate the season with holiday décor, ornaments, antiques and artisan handcrafted goods at the spring edition of the popular seasonal market. Olio Vintage Monthly Happy Hour: Vintage shop Olio Vintage welcomes a fresh crop local vendors and artists to the store this month with a happy hour. This month’s rotating guest vintage vendor is Back Pocket Vintage, offering a mix of women’s and men’s vintage in sizes XS to plus-size. Another guest vendor for the month is local artist Lora Hlavsa, who is debuting some new original paintings. The Lucky Stranger Vintage Happy Hour: Moth Oddities welcomes a new permanent vintage vendor to the shop, The Lucky Stranger. Marrimekko Fabric Pop-up Sale: Attention sewists and decorators: the Textile Center is hosting a Markimekko fabric sale. It includes nearly 100 yards of current and out-of-print Marimekko fabric in pristine condition, which was donated to the nonprofit center. Center for Lost Objects Reopening: Two weeks following a ceiling collapse, West 7th vintage shop Center for Lost Objects is reopening with a celebration. It’s a great chance to check out their new permanent vintage vendors, including 70s Child Vintage, Kitnik Vintage, Dolly’s Dreamhouse and Shockwave Retro (aka local musician duo Arzu Gokcen and Dan Wieken). International Women’s Day Shopping Crawl: Women-owned small businesses in the Twin Cities are coming together for a shopping crawl in honor of International Women’s Day.
