Mending with Fusibles: Have you ever wanted to create your own patches for mending? Reuse MN presents this class teaching how to make patches out of fusible interfacing. Get creative with fabric patterns and shapes, and create patches you can use to mend your items today, or save them in your mending kit for later. Promenade du Nord Flea Market: From the creator of the Department at Dayton’s market comes this new concept inspired by Parisian flea markets to celebrate the 2024 US Olympic Team Trials for the upcoming World Olympics held in Paris, France. Vendors include local sustainable clothing maker Danielle Everine and The Mustache Cat Home, showcasing their new line of locally crafted items using vintage materials. The outdoor festival starts with a Thursday kick-off event featuring more than 1,000 gymnasts performing to Minnesota music, as well as appearances from local celebrities who will serve as dance captains. There will also be stages for performances from the athletes themselves, food trucks and music throughout the weekend. Summer Vintage Pop-up Shop: A group of vintage vendors including Buffalo Thrifted, Save the Planet vintage and Rugged Hem are joining together for a pop-up vintage market in Buffalo, located 37 miles west of the Twin Cities. Olio Vintage Bonus Happy Hour: Vintage shop Olio Vintage celebrates Cancer season with a bonus happy hour featuring bubbly, NA beverages and snacks. The Moto Collective Presents Throttle & Thrift: The Moto Collective, a motorcycle garage that hosts motorcycle socials, hosts an evening of motorcycles, vintage vendors, live music and beverages. Night Market at Forgotten Star: Forgotten Star Brewing’s annual summer Night Market is back and better than ever. Twin Cities Pride Festival: Shop a wide variety of products from 650 vendor booths at this year’s Twin Cities Pride Festival in Loring Park. Vendors include Christopher Straub of Project Runway fame, who will have a booth filled with his handbag and duffle bag designs as well as his kids’ books and plushes, along with iconic BDSM and bondage store Bondesque, Dock6 Pottery and Latinx-owned Corazon Clothing. Park Point Art Fair: Now in its 52nd year, Duluth’s Park Point Art Fair is well-established, well-organized and well-attended. Each year, it draws over 10,000 visitors to a beautiful natural setting tucked between Lake Superior and the Superior Bay, with 120 juried artists spanning printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, wood, photography, jewelry and fiber art. AudreyRose Fest + Grand Opening: After shuttering her original shop late last year, Jessie Witte’s AudreyRose Vintage is back and bigger than ever with a new storefront in a 4,000-square-foot warehouse. Get your first look this Saturday when she hosts a grand opening event. Get a first look inside the space, shop guest artist pop-ups and enjoy sips and music.
