Now open: Urban Jungle Vintage: Uptown streetwear and sneaker shop Urban Jungle is going all-in on vintage with Urban Jungle Vintage, a separate storefront dedicated solely to vintage goods. First Thursday at Northrup King Building: First Thursdays are part of a long tradition of monthly events at the Northrup King Building—the largest building of artist studios in the state of Minnesota. Spanning four floors, the building opens for the public to tour studios, meet the artists, and shop the art. Textile Center Garage Sale: The Textile Center’s garage sale returns for a special yarn-enthusiast edition. The sale offers a thrifty way for knitters, stitchers, embroiderers and weavers to stock up on secondhand books, kits, notions, patterns, small tools and supplies, and larger tools like knitting machines, spinning wheels and looms. Totally Rad Vintage Fest: The TRVF is returning to the Minneapolis Convention Center for its annual winter event. The two-day fest features ’80s, ’90s and Y2K-era vintage including men’s and women’s clothing, furniture and home goods, video games, memorabilia, toys and more from local dealers and shops. The event also includes a vintage arcade, the Rad Rewind Museum with relics from the past, throwback photo ops, and '80s and '90s vintage cars from Back to the '80s MN.
