Fair Anita Online Sample Sale: Local fair-trade brand Fair Anita is giving you the chance to snag some one-of-a-kind styles for one night only. Plant & Clay Crawl: Local clay studio Dame Errant and plant shop Mother Co. are joining forces on a two-stop workshop that gives you a new plant and vessel to bring home. The crawl begins at Mother Co., where you'll pick out the perfect plant to bring to Dame Errant Clay, just a couple blocks away. There you'll learn the art of coil pots and create a one-of-a-kind pot that's perfect for your plant. MAN DOWN Menswear Fashion Show: Produced by Fashion Week MN’s Gayle Smaller, Jr, this new fashion show concept celebrates menswear in the Twin Cities as a vehicle to bring awareness to male mental health. MAN DOWN will spotlight designer's menswear collections from Venci, Anyse Fashion , Black Beauty 6, Creek, Jordan Carpenter Fashion and msp6ft as well as male and masc presenting models. Mill City Farmers Market: A mainstay since 2006, the Mill City Farmers Market has moved outdoors for the summer season every Saturday through October. Each event features 50+ local farmers, food makers and artisans with a goal of building a local, sustainable and organic food economy. Open Streets West Broadway Makers Market: Open Streets is a free, family-friendly event that allows the community to experience city streets as public spaces without cars. Twin Cities Record Show 20th Anniversary: Celebrate 20 years of the Twin Cities Record Show at their fall event. Expect hundreds of record albums, 45 RPM records, CDs and music memorabilia from a group of vendors spanning genres like jazz, blues, rock, outlaw country, funk, soul, garage and more. They’ll be joined by special guests, Margo Nahas and Jay Vigon, who have involved in the creation of the artwork on 80 classic albums from Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac and more. The Vintage Village: Following a successful run last summer, Everyday Ejiji’s The Vintage Village heads back to the Nolan Mains outdoor plaza at 50th & France this weekend. Excelsior Apple Days: Excelsior Apple Days is an annual lakeside festival celebrating community, art, locally produced food and a good old-fashioned street dance. EVOLVE Fall 2023: Despite Fashion Week MN taking a hiatus from a fall season (with plans to return in April 2024), its finale event EVOLVE is returning for a fall showing. Produced by local boutique The Fitting Room owner Kimberly Jurek-Valanzasca, the semi-annual event features all local designers and their capsule collections from ready-to-wear to couture. Sept 20: All Black Attire Party: Richard Moody of IAmMoody has been producing fashion shows in the Twin Cities for 30 years, always with an emphasis on luxury fashions and dynamic runway presentations. He’s back with his 6th annual All Black Attire party at MartinPatrick3. The runway show will highlight fall collections from the iconic North Loop luxury retailer. Attendees are asked to play up the theme by coming dressed in your favorite black attire. The free, unticketed show will take place in the alley alongside the store and will be a first-come, first-served event, so make sure you get there early. Sept 23: Avant Garden 2023: The party of the year is returning this September 23. This year’s artful benefit welcomes guests indoors for a night of dancing, dining, cocktails, and more high-style happenings amongst the artful backdrops within the iconic museum.
