The Nicollet xChange: Presented by Global Fashion Exchange, LUUM Collective and Downtown Improvement District, this weekly outdoor pop-up gives downtowners the chance to swap quality and quirky items in a marketplace setting. Each month will have a different theme as well as demos featuring a local artist, maker or expert to share skills like how to mend holes in clothing or tips to keep house plants thriving. The Markets at Viking Lakes: Summer Series: The Viking Lakes multi-use development in Eagan is hosting a weekly market every Tuesday evening featuring 50+ vendors, theme days, food, craft beer, live music and more. Flourishing Femme Goods Pop-up & Clothing Swap: Local maker Flourishing Femme Goods is hosting a picnic summer celebration outside of her apartment where you can shop her goods and take part in a clothing swap. Bring your gently used spring and summer clothing items for some new-to-you pieces, and shop her handmade earrings, quilt pieces and vintage. Hackwith Design House Open Studio Shopping: Come shop in-person at the Hackwith Design House studio during this in-studio event. Mill City Farmers Market: A mainstay since 2006, the Mill City Farmers Market has moved outdoors for the summer season every Saturday through October. Each event features 50+ local farmers, food makers and artisans with a goal of building a local, sustainable and organic food economy. NE Farmers Market: The NE Farmers Market is back outdoors for the season. Market Collective MN Makers Market: Market Collective MN is a market collective that prioritizes BIPOC and queer vendors and allies, with a different group of makers each market. This weekend’s market heads to Indeed Brewing’s outdoor patio with goods from a group of over 14 local artists and makers, including original art, sustainable clothing, knitwear, resin goods, jewelry, Bloody Mary mix, candles, baked goods and more, plus craft beer for sale. Juniper Lou Vintage + Makers Pride Market: For Pride weekend, Juniper Lou Markets is bringing a fresh group of local vintage vendors and makers to Pryes Brewing. The outdoor market's 10 vendors include Olio Vintage, Oubliette Vintage (fka Salty), Who Called?, Lobster Garden, Kollektiv, my brand Rosella Vintage, and more. Flip Phone is hosting a ticketed Golden Girls drag brunch indoors ($17) and the taproom and market will be free and open to the public. Artjuice Pride Market at Keg & Case: This weekend, local queer artist Artjuice is presenting three makers markets for Pride, each with a fresh lineup of local queer artists and makers. The first, hosted by Keg & Case, is a special collaboration with Audrey Marie Designs featuring a dozen makers. Items for sale include original paintings, illustrations, prints, cross-stitch art, and DIY illustrated clothing patches. Plus, enjoy performances from St. Paul’s School of Rock for kids and craft beer from Clutch Brewing Co. and Keg & Case food vendors all day. Artjuice Pride Makers Market at 11 Wells: Local queer artist Artjuice presents this market featuring a lineup of local queer artists and makers for Pride weekend, hosted by 11 Wells Spirits distillery. The nine artists and makers will be selling goods like handmade jewelry, upcyled art and apparel, laser-cut wood goods, art prints, photography and more. Plus: drink specials and live music. Southside Vintage Open Hours: South Minneapolis vintage home favorite Southside Vintage is open this weekend for the first time in awhile, and they need your support. After construction in their intersection has finally completed and trying to catch up from the COVID-related retail downturn, they were surprised to learn that there will no longer be any parking near their store for a block in every direction. Wayzata Art Experience: Celebrate summer with this long-running lakeside arts festival. Taking place in downtown Wayzata on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, the two-day event will feature 150 juried fine artists and makers (include Malachite Leather), plus food trucks, beer and wine, free sailboat rides, floating art, kids’ activities and live music. We the Starborne Back Alley Sale: St. Paul shop We the Starborne, which sells specially sourced crystals, handmade sacred tools, plant medicine and more, celebrates the third year of their open-air makers markets this weekend. This month’s vendor lineup includes Nina Dani Art, You're the Party, Functional Heirlooms, Tenth Muse Fragrance and more, plus a tarot and crystals swap and mini feng shui readings. Twin Cities Pride Festival: Shop a wide variety of products from 400 vendor booths at this year’s Twin Cities Pride Festival in Loring Park. Vendors include Christopher Straub of Project Runway fame, who will have a booth filled with his handbag and duffle bag designs as well as his kids’ books and plushes, along with iconic BDSM and bondage store Bondesque and “handsome” queer-owned shop Scout. Park Point Art Fair: Now in its 51st year, Duluth’s Park Point Art Fair is well-established, well-organized and well-attended. Each year, it draws over 10,000 visitors to a beautiful natural setting tucked between Lake Superior and the Superior Bay, with 120 juried artists spanning printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, wood, photography, jewelry and fiber art. Linden Hills Farmers Market: The Linden Hills Farmers Market is back with its outdoor market and a great group of vendors, including crowd favorites from last year and new startups we know you're going to love. Artjuice Pride Makers Market at Insight Brewing: The third and final Pride artist and makers market from Artjuice will be hosted by Insight Brewing and features a dozen vendors who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. Clubhouse Market: A new, multi-vendor store brought to you by Devin and Kate, the duo behind Clubhouse Market events and upcycled clothing brand Better Together, opened its doors in Uptown earlier this month. Better Together sells pre-loved garments, cut-and-sew creations, and silkscreened vintage goods with a casual, gender-free vibe. Stirling Castle Vintage: Following several years as a staple at vintage pop-ups around the Twin Cities, Nicole Davis’s Stirling Castle Vintage is bringing its fabulous goodies to the area on a regular basis with the opening of its new storefront. The store stocks a fresh, size-inclusive assortment of spring clothing, bold jewelry and accessories with a funky, femme vibe. Moth Oddities: After nearly 10 years selling vintage online, on the road and quickly outgrowing their first storefront, Moth Oddities is relocating to a larger storefront in the heart of the Saint Anthony neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis. Half of the space will be used for the Moth Oddities vintage shop, including a designated Italian vintage section and an assortment of accessories, home goods and work by local and independent brands. Fun & Fashion Show: This first-time fashion show from local designer Van Quigg, Fashion Week MN producer Gayle Smaller, Jr., and The Forge Game Store is all about showcasing the diversity and creativity of our local fashion community and celebrating the joy of fashion. Fashion Show Fundraiser: MsDenishia, creator of The Modeling Boot Camp, hosts this annual fashion show fundraiser to support MECP2 Duplication Syndrome—a neurological disorder with which her young son was diagnosed. For the first time, the show is partnering with Native designers for a special collaboration. The show is followed by MsDenishia’s 53rd birthday celebration.
