Riverwalk Market Fair: Winter Market: Riverwalk Market Fair is an art and farmers market held along the Cannon River in the heart of Northfield first Saturdays through April. Departments at Dayton's Winter Maker's Market: Following its debut one year ago, the Departments at Dayton's is back with another holiday pop-up market. Housed within the main level of the Dayton's Project at the iconic Dayton's building in downtown Minneapolis, the market will feature 65 independent vendors selling everything from handcrafted wood furniture and home goods to camping gear and canoes. Community Supported Art 2023: Springboard for the Arts is once again partnering with MN Center for Book Arts, Bench Pressed Letterpress, Bruno Press, Creative Handmade Goods and artists from Springboard’s Ready Made program for Community Supported Art—a CSA for local art. Choose from three boxes of artwork, each one curated by the partner organizations and featuring handcrafted artwork by local makers. Shares cost $350, which means a CSA box full of locally crafted art will be delivered to you in February, March and April 2023. Ready or Hot: Fashion Meets Passion for Planned Parenthood: Planned Parenthood’s annual fundraiser fashion show returns for the first time since 2020 to gather its supporters for an evening of fashion and music at the most iconic music venue in town—First Avenue. Olio Vintage: New vintage collective store, Olio Vintage, is a unique collective of specialty vintage retailers brought together under one roof in Northeast Minneapolis. Black Garnet Books: The only Black-owned bookstore in Minnesota, community member Dionne Sims launched Black Garnet Books two years ago online in direct response to state violence and to address racial inequality within the publishing and literary industries.
