Vintage Figurines from Dayton's Holiday Show Display: A beloved Twin Cities holiday tradition has returned. In partnership with the Hennepin Theatre Trust and 50th & France, the Douglas Flanders art gallery is hosting a quintet of beloved characters from Dayton’s iconic Holiday Show for the holiday season. It marks the first time these refurbished vintage figurines—The Fox and The Cat from Pinocchio 1991, Prince of the Dolls from Nutcracker 1997, Snow White from 2004, and Mole from The Wind in the Willows 1995)—have been on view since their original runs. The display kicks off a fundraising effort to renovate and repair all 34 Dayton’s Holiday Show figurines belonging to the Hennepin Theatre Trust. European Christmas Market: The European Christmas Market in St. Paul claims to be the most authentic traditional holiday market of its kind in Minnesota. Six for Good Holiday Popup: After having met at a 2017 holiday popup at the Mall of America, six local makers joined forces to create Six for Good, a collective with a mission to give back to the community. Now, the group is hosting its own holiday popup at the megamall. The shop, which also has a storefront at Rosedale Center, will showcase goods from Thumbs Cookies.
