Rise & Thrive: A Queer, Trans & Woman-Owned Vendor Village: Head to the U of MN campus for Rise & Thrive, a vibrant marketplace celebrating local queer, trans and women-owned businesses, presented by the UMN Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life and the UMN Women’s Center. Mends & Friends at Moth Oddities: Join vintage shop Moth Oddities for this month’s iteration of Mends & Friends. Bring a pile of mending that’s been piling up and enjoy drinks, snacks and community. Ready or Hot: Rock, Runway & Reproductive Rights: Planned Parenthood’s annual fundraiser fashion show returns to gather its supporters for an evening of fashion and music at the most iconic music venue in town—First Avenue. The show raises essential funds to support their sexual and reproductive health services and inclusive sex education in Minnesota with community models of all shapes, sizes, races and genders wearing looks from local shops, with DJ Tricky Miki. 18+. Fashion Fight Night: Fashion and flowers collide in a high-energy runway competition presented by Sip N Bloom and local stylist Amy Seeman. Top stylists and designers from the Twin Cities will go head-to-head in a boxing ring, crafting jaw-dropping looks live before your eyes.
