Edina Art Fair: The 58th annual Edina Art Fair is the first official art fair of the year, showcasing artwork and handmade goods for sale by over 250 artists and makers from Minnesota and the U.S. Held at 50th and France, the fair is packed with beverage and food options, including craft beer gardens and food trucks. A highlight is sure to be Friday night’s gallery kickoff event showcasing artwork by Stephanie Dillon, Sarah Edwards, emerging artists from MCAD and more (6–8pm @ 3921 Market St; register here). Clubhouse Bodega Grand Opening: Reworked clothing brand Better Together, the creators of Uptown vintage shop Clubhouse Market, are opening a second vintage shop concept this weekend just down the street in partnership with vintage seller Making of Urban Thrift. MN Record Show: Since 1992, the MN Record Show has been the largest Twin Cities record show. This month’s featured famed Prince photographer Allen Beaulieu, who will be signing his book Prince Before the Rain and selling signed photo prints. Art in the Hollow Art Fair: Dubbed "the best hidden art festival in the Twin Cities," Art in the Hollow takes place in the hard-to-find Swede Hollow Park in St. Paul. (Tip: Park your car at the nearby Saint Paul Brewing and take a mini tour of historical ruins en route to the park.) The community-run event was established in 2010 to encourage visitors to discover natural amenities of the park while supporting local artists and makers. There will also be live music and dancing presented by Indigenous Roots, live poetry from The Tap, a plein-art painting exhibition and more. St. Anthony Park Arts Festival: Presented by the St. Anthony Park Library, this annual festival features 50+ juried artists as well as a community area, plant sale, a used book sale, family art activities, food and live music. The Fitting Room 6 Year Anniversary Garden Party: Celebrate six years of The Fitting Room with a day of festivities. Support AudreyRose Vintage's Exciting Expansion: After shuttering its 700-square-foot space in South Minneapolis late last year, local vintage shop AudreyRose Vintage is planning a major expansion. Owner Jessie Witte rented out an old warehouse that she plans to convert into a storefront with spaces for photo shoots, workshops and community building, which they hope to open in late June.
