Moth Market: Seven guest vintage vendors are popping-up at Moth Oddities in Moth Studio for the first two weeks of October. They include this panel discussion and fashion presentation with a theme of "the future of fashion" featuring local experts in sustainability, tech and AI as well as live models showcasing looks by local designers. NE Farmers Market Season Closer & Fall Festival: The weekly NE Farmers Market is closing out its outdoor market season with a fall festival to raise funds for the Northeast Farmers Market. Big Red Barn Folk Arts & Crafters Fair: For 7 seasons, the MAHS Big Red Barn Folk Arts Fair has been the area’s largest folk arts gathering from MN and WI with over 100 booths. Fresh Traditions XVII: Bloom: Presented by CHAT (Center for Hmong Arts & Talent), this culturally inspired fashion event showcases the creativity, originality and quality of work by 10 Hmong fashion designers. Designers—including eight from Minnesota and Wisconsin, and two hailing from Thailand—will showcase their interpretation of the theme “Bloom.” There will also be a dance performance from Royal Dynasty Dance Team and performance from singer Douachi Yang. Fashion Week MN: Creative Renaissance: Fashion Week MN’s finale, “Creative Renaissance,” celebrates the vibrant surge of creativity flourishing across Minnesota at host venue, Minneapolis Institute of Art.
