Deconstructing Our Clothes: Climate & Human Rights Impacts in the Fashion Industry: This event co-hosted by the Advancing Climate Solutions Now fund at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs explores how the global fashion industry impacts the environment and human rights. It kicks off with a day-long sewing activation that invites the public to help deconstruct and upcycle old garments (10am–4pm), and a panel and reception (4pm). NE Farmers Market After Dark: The Northeast Farmers Market is back with its monthly night market at Bauhaus Brew Labs. BFWMN: Brown Girl Magic Fashion Show: Black Fashion Week MN continues its fall season with this show celebrating local Black and Brown fashion designers. Pearl After Dark: Fall Drop: The Golden Pearl Vintage is back with its Fall Drop event. Their long-standing, after-hours soiree is coming back in time to celebrate the changing of the seasons. The store will be releasing fresh fall stock, including cashmere, camel coats, plaid skirts and more, so get first dibs and enjoy cocktails while you shop. Arc's Gender Affirming Shopping Event: Local thrift chain Arc's Value Village, whose proceeds benefit The Arc Minnesota’s mission to provide support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hosting an after-hours gender-affirming shopping event at their Bloomington location. This is a chance for anyone who is exploring how they want to be seen in the world to have the store to themselves to shop, connect and get styling advice. Nine Lives Thrift Grand Opening: Join nonprofit thrift store Nine Lives Minnesota as they celebrate their grand opening within St. Paul vintage shop, the Center for Lost Objects.
