The Fitting Room Reopening + Fundraiser: Two weeks ago, locally owned shop The Fitting Room was broken into. The store, which showcases one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories by a group of local designers, was robbed of nearly $30,000 worth of handmade goods. Last weekend, the store reopened and a GoFundMe was set up to help relieve some financial deficit from their insurance coverage. Larissa Loden Spring '23 Jewelry Launch: As a jewelry designer for ten years, Larissa Loden’s work comprised of vintage and found materials, with an emphasis on brass work, and one of her top-selling lines featured bugs and bees and entomology-inspired components. Her Spring ‘23 Collection launching this week features nature-inspired pieces that were sketched by Larissa, cut in brass, and plated in designer-grade 14k gold before being hand-assembled in her Saint Paul studio.
