The circumstances of the past couple years left local clothing brand KOKOON without a true studio. Now, they’re getting ready to move once more. ACG Tulle Fluff Dress Shop Update
After local designer and artist Anna Chambers-Goldberg recently announced she’d be taking a hiatus from making clothing, she found herself inspired to make another collection of colorful sheer tulle dresses for her label, ACG. The whimsical, loose-fitting dresses are perfect for layering over lingerie, swimwear, a bodysuit or another dress, and available in a rainbow of shades and range of sizes. She’s also selling something called “tulle hats”—color me intrigued. Don’t miss this drop, as it may be the designer’s last for a while. Available beginning Wednesday @ acgmpls.com

Sewer Rat Studio Opening
The makers of the new Sewer Rat Studio have been in their studio space for a year, but due to the pandemic, they haven’t opened it up to the public–until now. The quartet—clothing designer and leather maker Sarah M. Holm, clothing maker and chainstitch embroiderer Nickey Robo, jewelry designer Sheelah, and artist Samael Leopold-Sullivan—is finally ready to open their doors and share what they’ve have been working on over the past year. They’ll have handmade art, vintage goodies and arts-and-craft supplies for sale along with beverages, tunes and general good vibes. A mainstay since 2006, the Mill City Farmers Market has moved outdoors for the summer season every Saturday through October. Vintage lovers, local music fans and foodies unite for this summer kickoff event from Selby at Snelling businesses. Havoc Alt Boutique Pop-up
New, occasional thrift + vintage resale shop alert! Havoc has just opened just east of Lake Nokomis in South Minneapolis. The cozy storefront features a mix of vintage and contemporary resale clothing, specializing is fun, edgy, luxe garments at a fraction of retail prices. Proprietors Miranda Cole and Karissah Peterson are tenured thrift addicts, fashion graduates and film stylists. Market Collective MN: Makers Market
Led by local maker Chingona Goods, Market Collective MN is a new market collective that prioritizes BIPOC and queer vendors and allies. Broadway Square Vintage Market
Make a day trip up to the Twin Ports for the season debut of the Broadway Square Vintage Market, a monthly market hosted by Spirit Room and Lady Outlaw Vintage in the old Broadway Community Gardens in Superior, Wisconsin. Stone Arch Bridge Festival
The third largest festival in the Twin Cities, the annual Stone Arch Bridge Fest features 200+ artist and vendor booths across 15 categories including fine art, vintage, classic cars, food and drink. Maker highlights include Wondrous Crane ceramics, handbags by Julie Meyer Leather Goods and LES Bags, Mezamé hand-woven clothing and accessories, luxury hand-poured candles by Kobi Co. and Slow Burn, and jewelry from Everthine, Dottir and ILO Studio. Vintage & Vinyl Market at Stone Arch Bridge Festival
This month, the Minneapolis Vintage Market is popping up at the Stone Arch Bridge Fest at Central Mississippi Riverfront Regional Park for a special two-day event. The biggest monthly vintage market in the Twin Cities, this month’s MVM will features 40 vendors (my own Rosella Vintage included!) selling vintage clothing for all genders plus home goods and records, amidst the scenic backdrop of the Central Mississippi Riverfront Regional Park on the west side of the Mississippi River, located directly behind the Guthrie Theater. The Black Market at Stone Arch Bridge Festival

Minneapolis Craft Market at Pryes Block Party
Pryes Brewing is celebrating the 5th anniversary of its taproom with a big block party, and Minneapolis Craft Market is coming along for the fun. Steps from the Mississippi River, Pryes features a happening patio with delicious craft brews and scratch-made pizza. Larissa Loden Retail Store
Local jewelry designer Larissa Loden recently debuted the new brick-and-mortar store in St. Paul’s Merriam Park for her namesake brand. The shop is part of the 12,000-square-foot building that the designer purchased, which also houses a production and fulfillment facility for the brand. Come see the space, which has been gorgeously designed in partnership with with Betsy Vohs of Studio BV, and shop her new spring collection, with styles ranging from edgy, ‘70s-inspired designs to delicate, cosmic pieces incorporating pearlescent beads, delicate chain links and real gemstones. After a month-long hiatus, the Departments at Dayton’s marketplace is back with a spring market.
